Oprel’s Auto Darkening Filter technology is combined with easily accessible external controls to eliminate the need for helmet removal GRINDING SImply press the oversized shade control button and the auto-darkening filter is locked in to a shade 4. This eliminates filter flickering while grinding or brazing. Both are now possible without helmet removal. Depress control button again to reset ADF.

SHADE LEVEL CONTROL Adjust this control knob to select the
shade within settings of 5-9 or 9-13. Selections can be made according to the welding process making this one of the most versatile helmets on the market.

ADJUSTABLE SENSOR BAR Eliminate the efects of ambient light.
Simply slide the sensor bar up and the angle of detection will open from 60 degrees to 120, which optimizes performance during low current and over the head welding.  Keep it down and reduce the chances of a nearby arc darkening your lens.

EYE PROTECTION Several LCD’s and special filters provide permanent Shade 14 protection from dangerous UV and IR radiation, even in the bright state.

Ideal for electrical or arc welding.The flashmaster is manufactured in polypropylene to guarantee a lightweight design and superior strength that is heat resistant and chemical resistant.Welding splatter is minimised by a replaceable CR39 cover lens which protects the filter.  An impact resistant  polycarbonate clear lens is fitted as a backing lens.

For comfort the Flashmaster also features a padded cloth headband, adjustable head diameter, height and faceshield angle.

Welding filters are manufactured  from the highest quality glass to comply with the requirements of the Australian and British Standards Specifications. With the selected correct filter lens, complete protection is guaranteed against invisible ultra-violet and infra-red rays and glare – the main eye hazards in welding operations.The cover lens is an optically correct lens with a surface that provicles highest resistance to welding spatter.This cover lens will outlast other types and save considerable time and money in constantly replacing ordinary glass or plastic cover lenses.

“Weld-Cool” polycarbonate filter plates are made of a proprietary polycarbonate formula and coated with 24-karat gold.Together, these technologies

reflect/absord ultraviolet, visible, and infrared radiation to protect the welder’s eyes and allow the welder to ” see the weld pool ‘ better by reducing

“sodium flare “. The welder is cooler and more comfortable, and the quality of the weld can be significantly improved. “Weld-Cool” filter plates are made

from lightweight, impact resistant “Duralite^@” polycarbonate, and are coated with the exclusive “‘DX^TM” anti-fog hard coat to minimize fogging, scratching,

static and chemical attack, and to protect the gold coating.The edges of the “Weld-Cool” filter plates are raised to protect the gold coating and lens

surfaces.This eliminates the need for gas-kets or spacers to keep the cover plate from scratching the coating or from forming annoying “interference bands”.”Weld-Cool” polycarbonate filter plates fit common 2″ x 41/4″ welding helmets, allowing welders to use either shade filter plate, regardless of the
